Commissioned by the MEDIA Programme, peacefulfish is conducting a study on film banking in Europe addressing such topics as public/private risk-mitigation mechanisms; in-house vs. outsourcing expertise in the sector; and corporate finance for small and medium-sized production companies. As this study nears its conclusion, the first-ever European Film Banking Roundtable will be held in order for bankers to come together and exchange ideas with representatives from the MEDIA Programme and the European Investment Bank (EIB). By invitation only, this Roundtable is the first in a series of working groups on European film banking planned by the MEDIA Programme and peacefulfish and is organized in association with Film London and the Cass Business School.
